• Businesswomen Council meets the Dutch Deputy Ambassador and discusses initiatives to enhance cooperation

    The Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to the Kingdom, Mascha Baak, emphasized the promote cooperation with the businesswomen's community in the Eastern Province, during a meeting with Businesswomen Council recently in Asharqia Chamber at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Executive Council for Businesswomen, Maram Bint Saeed Al-Jishi, and was attended by a remarkable number of businesswomen.

     

     

    During the meeting, Mascha Baak said that the meeting was a catalyst and carries many initiatives and ideas that can be advantageous, as the two sides are interested in transferring expertise and knowledge in the fields of organizing programs, specialized events, design, agricultural investment, cybersecurity, handicrafts, innovation, creativity and fashion.

     

    Moreover, Al-Jishi said that the meeting witnessed a distinguished interaction by the audience, who made a number of proposals that affected the meeting.

    She noted that the meeting witnessed the exchange of some activities that could be a catalyst for the women's business sector in the region, such as holding meetings that show success stories for Dutch leaders in companies in Saudi Arabia.

    It also discussed the possibility of holding specialized training programs for the development of women leaders, in addition to the efforts of the Kingdom to empower women and increase their participation through various programs to support them as investors or employees.

     

    In the end, souvenirs were exchanged between the two parites.​
